Asking the schedule
A: What do you plan to do on the weekend?
B: I don’t know for certain.
A: Can I see you sometime this week?
B: I’m afraid my schedule is pretty tight.
A: When are you leaving?
B: Next Friday.
A: Going to the party tonight?
B: Sure thing.
A: Where are you staying?
B: I’m crashing with a friend of mine.
A: When’s the next train to Boston?
B: Two-fifteen.
A: When will you be back?
B: This coming Tuesday.
A: Will you be there this evening?
B: Yes, I will.
A: I’ll come by, then.

A: I’m going to quit right away if you refused my request.
B: Don’t jump to conclusions so quickly. I’ll give you a pay raise, so stay with us.
A: You should do it now.
B: Must I?
A: Look, let’s not discuss it.
B: Why not?
A: What difference does that make?
B: I was just curious.
A: Let me call Mark Seels.
B: What’s the good of calling Mark Now?
A: You can’t fire me. I’m quitting.
B: You can’t quit. You’re fired.
A: Why don’t you tell me exactly what your objections are?
B: I can’t tell you now.
A: How do you feel about that idea?
B: I would just like to refute it.

A: Well, feel free to come and see me if you have any questions.
B: Thanks a lot.
A: When is the deadline for applications?
B: It is the end of this month.
A: Let’s fix the time and place of our meeting.
B: How about tomorrow evening?
A: Okay with me.
A: Was your proposal accepted?
B: It was turned down.
A: That post is too important for me to undertake.
B: No, you can do it.
A: When shall we meet next time?
B: How about the beginning of next month?
