B: Yesterday.
A: How did the Dodgers do today?
B: They won the game 5 to 3 over the Giants.
A: What happened with the meeting?
B: Didn’t I tell you? It was postponed till next week.
A: Did you enjoy the movie?
B: Of course. It was terrific.
A: How long did the drive up here take?
B: About three hours.
A: How did it come out?
B: We got it worked out all right.
A: How soon will we know the result?
B: I don’t know. We just have to wait and see.
A: Did I tell you I was going to Japan?
B: No. that’s news to me.

A: My car broke down. Can you help me push it?
B: I’ll be glad to.
A: Would you mind sliding over?
B: Sure, why not?
A: I’d like to have more time to think the plan over.
B: Okay. Think it over and let me know by this time tomorrow.
A: Can you deliver them?
B: Yes, sir. May I have your address?
A: Will you drop me off on your way, please?
B: No problem.
A: Would you mail the contract to my hotel?
B: All right.
A: Could you spare me a few minutes?
B: With pleasure.
A: Can you break three dimes into six nickels?
B: Just a moment. I will see if I can.

A: Give me a few minutes.
B: Take all the time you want.
A: Let me buy you a drink.
B: I’m really in a hurry.
A: A drink won’t take long. Come on.
A: I’m going home. I’ll see you tomorrow.
B: Hey, hang around . I just got here.
A: Are you free tonight?
B: No, I have too much to do.
A: I’ll see you tomorrow.
B: No, you won’t.
A: Are you mad about something?
B: No.
A: Are you free now? I have someone coming over you’d like to see.
B: Who is it?
A: What’s happening with you?
B: Well, I’m a little weird these days.
A: How can love turn to hate so fast, would you tell me that?
